Lindy’s research and professional interests are centred around social justice, gender equality and ending violence against women and girls.
Her expertise spans Australia, Asia and the Pacific Islands. She has held leadership and executive roles with diverse organisations including the Australian government, United Nations and the non-government sector.
Lindy holds a number of professional affiliations including Adjunct Industry Fellow at the School of Law and Society at the University of the Sunshine Coast and is a member of the Australian Association for Pacific Studies.
Lindy is a PhD Candidate at the Sexual Violence Research and Prevention Unit at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Read more about her PhD project here.
Lindy’s research has featured in the media in Australia and the Pacific region and has won awards including the Bell School Prize for Research Partnerships, Impact and Engagement at the Australian National University and the School of Law and Society HDR Researcher Prize at the University of the Sunshine Coast.
